Rimac Automobili d.o.o. designs, engineers and manufactures electric hypercars alongside core electric vehicle systems for the global automotive industry. Founded in 2009, the company developed its capabilities in-house after identifying the need to create its own technology for an electric hypercar. Its automotive work includes the Nevera and Nevera R, while its technology activities encompass power-dense drivetrain systems, battery systems, autonomous driving technology and infotainment-based user experiences. Engineering teams use component and system simulation to assess mechanical integrity, thermal stability, durability and safety under demanding operating conditions.

The company’s headquarters in Sveta Nedelja combines machining, composite production, paintwork, prototype assembly, engineering and support functions. Production facilities in Jankomir house the Nevera series production line as well as component and battery production lines, supported by manufacturing engineering and administration. Its operations also include research and development offices in Zagreb, Split, Osijek and Warwick. The Split team works on hardware and software, while the Osijek office focuses on platform software, calibration and diagnostic applications. Manufacturing activities include handmade upholstery, carbon composite components, battery assembly, paintwork, vehicle assembly and end-of-line quality control. The business has grown from a specialist component manufacturer into a producer of electric hypercars and automotive technology with more than 1,300 employees.
