CaetanoBus S.A. designs and builds buses for urban public transport, airport operations, tourism, and school transport. Its city portfolio includes electric and hydrogen-powered e.City Gold and H2.City Gold models in several lengths, including articulated and bus rapid transit configurations. The company also produces COBUS airport buses, with diesel, electric, hydrogen, and diesel-to-electric conversion options. Voyager coaches serve tourism operations, while the iTrabus minibus is configured for school and tourist use, with seating for 29 passengers plus a guide and driver and provision for a wheelchair ramp.

Bus body manufacturing has shaped the business since its origins in 1946, and its Gaia plant began operating in 1966. The company introduced steel coach and bus bodies in Portugal in 1955, later developing aluminium city buses and beginning chassis manufacturing in 2010. Electric mobility development dates to 2011, followed by the electric e.COBUS airport bus and e.City Gold urban bus. A cooperation agreement with Toyota supported the development of the H2.City Gold fuel-cell bus, which entered commercialisation in 2020. Beyond vehicle supply, CaetanoBus coordinates integrated zero-emission mobility projects that combine vehicles, energy infrastructure, depot systems, digital fleet optimisation, asset management, and long-term maintenance.
